Web site Launch
We have recently launched our on-line shopping web site, www.crosmazandbrown.com, with its large variety of high quality vintage clothing and accessories. At our site we also promote 6 family artisans, one being Jerry Brown, builder and husband. and a variety of visiting artists. You can browse the art tour map of Northumberland & hastings Counties showing over 32 murals and mural signs painted by either or both, Gayle and Lezly-Ann Crosmaz-Brown. Our press and events section will entertain you with a blues band "Mamaz Boyz" and the Crosmaz-Brown sisters singing jazz. There is also pictures from our gala opening hosted by Art Plus, Belleville with 22 models/clients showing off several vintage outfits from the emporium.

Power Of Women Exchange
I have recently joined a women in business networking group and have had a extremely positive experience. The group has 6 chapters from Kingston to Marham and they meet for lunch on Tuesdays, each week there is a lunch being held at one or more of the chapters. As a member you can attend any of the lunches and even set up a table of your products to promote your business. I will be set up at the POWE convention on March 8, 2008 at the Tosca Banquet & Conference Centre in Oshawa. It is a full day event with door prizes, one of which I have donated, as well as speakers through out the day. It is a great way to get your name out there so check out a POWE chapter in your area. www.powe.ca

Crosmaz & Brown Emporium
The Crosmaz & Brown Emporium is an umbrella company uniting several family artisans as well as a retail shop featuring vintage and retro clothing. Each member of the family contribute their own unique talents to the mix, Gayle Crosmaz-Brown, artist and designer and Jerry Brown, an artisan in wood is a builder and renovator of vintage and Victorian homes. Daughters, Nicole field works in metal designing furniture, accessories, as well as chain mail jewellery and clothing, Natalie Crosmaz-Brown is a jazz singer and jewellery designer, Lezly-Ann Crosmaz-Brown is a vocalist of various styles and artist, painting murals and signs, Derek Micklejohn draws portraits and is a pen & ink artist.
With over 30 years experience in art, fashion and wood working, the members of the emporium bring creativity into dressing your home, work place or your body. Gayle’s unique sense of style makes dressing for the prom, stage, special event or even the office an exciting experience, with her vast selection of one-of-a-kind finds. Jerry, working locally, restores your vintage real estate investment to its original condition while upgrading it into the modern world. Nicole, with one foot in the medieval times, can create a chain mail piece right out of history. Natalie, with her booming voice, delights the crowd when she sings jazz then will design and create a personalized “Big and bodacious” piece of jewellery. Lezly-Ann, singing everything from country classics, old rock to jazz can also whip out the paintbrush and create a piece of art. Derek draws on his love of the music world, creating promotional band posters as well custom portraits. There is a visiting artist’s section where you can find the creations of friends and other family members.
The retail shop, located in a restored Victorian house and decorated inside and out with murals on walls and ceilings, has an atmosphere all its own. It is an artistic experience filling you with an over whelming desire to be creative and passionate. While on your tour through the countryside to visit the Crosmaz & Brown Emporium, take in the art tour provided on the art tour map. The map will show you how to find all the murals painted by Gayle and Lezly-Ann in the surrounding counties. We also like to show case performances of family and friends involved with the emporium in our press and events section. We hope to bring to you joy and excitement, whether you are shopping from our online store or visiting us in person, helping you to bring out your own passions and desires.
