Crosmaz & Brown Emporium

The Crosmaz & Brown Emporium is an umbrella company uniting several family artisans as well as a retail shop featuring vintage and retro clothing. Each member of the family contribute their own unique talents to the mix, Gayle Crosmaz-Brown, artist and designer and Jerry Brown, an artisan in wood is a builder and renovator of vintage and Victorian homes. Daughters, Nicole field works in metal designing furniture, accessories, as well as chain mail jewellery and clothing, Natalie Crosmaz-Brown is a jazz singer and jewellery designer, Lezly-Ann Crosmaz-Brown is a vocalist of various styles and artist, painting murals and signs, Derek Micklejohn draws portraits and is a pen & ink artist.
With over 30 years experience in art, fashion and wood working, the members of the emporium bring creativity into dressing your home, work place or your body. Gayle’s unique sense of style makes dressing for the prom, stage, special event or even the office an exciting experience, with her vast selection of one-of-a-kind finds. Jerry, working locally, restores your vintage real estate investment to its original condition while upgrading it into the modern world. Nicole, with one foot in the medieval times, can create a chain mail piece right out of history. Natalie, with her booming voice, delights the crowd when she sings jazz then will design and create a personalized “Big and bodacious” piece of jewellery. Lezly-Ann, singing everything from country classics, old rock to jazz can also whip out the paintbrush and create a piece of art. Derek draws on his love of the music world, creating promotional band posters as well custom portraits. There is a visiting artist’s section where you can find the creations of friends and other family members.
The retail shop, located in a restored Victorian house and decorated inside and out with murals on walls and ceilings, has an atmosphere all its own. It is an artistic experience filling you with an over whelming desire to be creative and passionate.
